Owner, Clinician

Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who earned a Bachelor’s of Social Work from Eastern Mennonite University and a Master’s of Social Work from the University of Southern California.

I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced complex trauma, including those in traditional foster care placements and independent living placements. I have foundational training in EMDR and TF-CBT to support this trauma work. I also also appreciate working with adults who are in transitional life phases and are looking to break intergenerational cycles.

One special practice area I engage in is work with children and adolescents who have sexual trauma as well as those who have sexual behavior problems.

Additionally, I offer running therapy. Running Therapy combines running coaching and talk therapy. First developed by Dr. Kostrubala in the 1970’s, this model provides an alternative to the office setting and is demonstrated to augment the benefits of traditional counseling alone for many symptoms including those related to depression and anxiety.

I also enjoy providing supervision to clinicians seeking the LCSW and/or SOTP license.

Outside of providing therapeutic services, I enjoy being outdoors, yoga, crocheting, napping, eating brunch, and spending time with my family, although finding balance in life is an ongoing area of growth as I’m human too!

Mandi Gray, LPC

Mandi Gray, LPC

Clinician

Hello, I’m Mandi Gray. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I’m passionate about helping children become the best version of themselves. I specialize in supporting young clients who have experienced complex trauma, and I approach each child with compassion, respect, and a deep understanding of their developmental needs.

My clinical foundation is built on extensive training in evidence-based, trauma-informed modalities, including Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), Theraplay, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Sandtray Therapy. These approaches allow me to tailor each therapeutic experience to meet your child’s unique emotional and developmental needs.

I am committed to creating a safe, supportive environment where children can explore their feelings, process difficult experiences, and learn healthy ways to cope. I believe in the importance of working closely with caregivers and incorporating attachment-focused interventions to support healing and strengthen family connections.

Whether your child is navigating early relational trauma or other adverse experiences, I bring warmth, expertise, and a deep commitment to trauma-informed care. It would be my privilege to support your child on their path to healing and growth.

Clinician

Hello! My name is Stefanie Kinzie and I am a Supervisee in Social Work under licensure supervision with Stephanie Hewitt, LCSW. I graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a BA in Writing & Rhetoric in 2013 and a Master of Social Work from the University of Kentucky in 2024. I currently hold licenses from the VA Board of Counseling and the VA Board of Psychology as a SOTP Trainee.

I have worked in a wide range of clinical settings, including community mental health crisis services and addiction and recovery treatment clinics, where I have extensive experience serving clients diagnosed with personality and mood disorders, as well as substance use disorders and high-risk behaviors.

I currently am accepting new adolescent and adult clients who are struggling with anxiety and depression, grief and loss, substance use, major life transitions, anger management, and personality and mood disorders. I am also serving youth clients who struggle with problematic sexual behaviors.

I have specialized training in Marsha Linehan’s Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills for working with clients struggling to gain control over mental health symptoms and high-risk behaviors, as well as foundational training in Motivational interviewing (MI), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). I also incorporate narrative therapy techniques into sessions for clients who like exploring and processing their feelings through writing.

When not counseling clients, I enjoy playing a friendly game of pickleball, journaling and writing, and playing trivia and strategy games with family and friends.
